Prof Paul V Abbott is a male Specialist Endodontist.

Prof. Paul Abbott is Professor of Clinical Dentistry, Head of the School of Dentistry and Director of the Oral Health Centre of WA at The University of Western Australia where he co-ordinates the undergraduate and postgraduate endodontic training programmes. He is a Specialist Endodontist and works in private practice on a part-time basis. He has lectured extensively with over 550 presentations in 32 countries. He has written a comprehensive review of “Endodontics and Dental Traumatology” which is used in most dental schools in Australia and several other countries. He has published 76 articles in refereed journals, contributed to 11 chapters to textbooks and serves on the Editorial Boards and Scientific Review Committees of 14 international dental journals. Prof. Abbott is currently the Immediate Past President of the International Federation of Endodontic Associations (IFEA). In 2004, he was awarded the University of Western Australia’s Excellence in Teaching Award. In 2008, the Australian Dental Association awarded him the ADA Service Medallion for long-term service to the dental profession. In 2009, he was awarded Honorary Life Membership of the Asian Pacific Endodontic Confederation.
