Prof Ian A Meyers is a male General Dentist.
Dr Ian Meyers brings more than thirty years combined experience in clinical dentistry,private practice, university clinics and hospital based dental clinics. Among his previouspositions are the inaugural Colgate Chair of Dental General Practice Dentistry (2001-2009),Chief Dental Officer for Queensland Health (2009-2010), and 2010 President of theQueensland Branch of the Australian DentalAssociation.
He is fellow of the International College of Dentists, Academy of Dentistry International, the Pierre Frauchard Academy, and the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons. Dr Meyers has actively been teaching generations of dentists through the University of Queensland since 1988, and is an honorary professor of The University of Queensland School of Dentistry and James Cook University School of Medicine and Dentistry.
A general dental practitioner, Dr Ian Meyers has extensive experience in comprehensive patient care, and specialises in diagnosis and management of worn and broken down dentition, and the management of patients through minimum intervention dentistry.
