Ms Vy T Pham is a female Oral Health Therapist.
Before joining us in 2015 Vy had been involved in the dental industry since 2005, with humble beginnings as a dental assistant, her passion for oral health drove her to pursue further studies, she went on to complete her degree in Bachelor of Oral Health at The University of Adelaide in 2008.
After graduating, Vy has worked in both private and government jobs and in 2012 Vy did volunteer work in Vietnam, providing dental care to kindergarten, primary school children and local residents and their families.
As a qualified Oral Health Therapist and a member of the Dental Hygiene Association of Australia, Vy’s role at Semaphore Dental is both of that of a Dental Hygienist and Dental Therapist, Working closely with the hygienists, the two specialise in Prevention, treatment and management of dental health and disease along with Oral hygiene instruction, Teeth whitening and Dental education.
Vy can offer dental therapy services to patients aging from infancy to 18 years and can perform dental check-ups, x-rays, preventive treatment, fillings, pulpotomies (nerve treatment of baby teeth), stainless steel crowns, extractions of baby teeth and dental education.
Vy aims to bring the language of dentistry to a level that children can understand, making the dental visit an enjoyable experience to build a positive rapport with children so they feel safe and comfortable coming to the dentist.
