Ms Renata E Hemphill is a female Dental Hygienist who speaks German and Polish (as well as English).
Renata completed her training as a dental hygienist and therapist at King's College in London in 2009. She gathered clinical experience in the private sector in London and Melbourne, and has been with Smile in Style since January of 2012.
Renata understands that oral health affects the health of the body, and recognises the immense benefit of patient education in the area of tooth decay and gum disease. When patients know why and how these conditions can develop, and are shown the proper way to care for teeth and gums, they stand a better chance of prolonged health.
In her role as hygienist, Renata will check teeth and gums for signs of disease, will complete dental x-rays, clean teeth, and also provide necessary information on oral hygiene. She has the training and capability to properly diagnose cavities and gum disease, and completes routine cleanings for our young patients in calm, reassuring way. She also assists with our orthodontic patients.
