Ms Mina Soleimani

BOH (Melb), Oral Health Therapist

Ms Mina Soleimani is a female Oral Health Therapist who speaks Farsi and Persian (as well as English).

Mina graduated from the University of Melbourne with a Bachelor of Oral Health and an adult scope of practice in 2021. Prior to pursuing her bachelor’s degree, she accumulated over 7 years of hands-on experience as a Dental Nurse in various dental practices. This extensive background fueled her interest in expanding her expertise, prompting her to undertake studies in Oral Health Therapy. Mina’s passion for dentistry resulted in her earning five prestigious awards during her academic journey at the University of Melbourne. Among these awards are the Oral B prize, the Dental Hygienists Association Prize, and the Australian Dental & Oral Health Therapists’ Association Ltd Victorian/Tasmanian Branch Graduate Award. Additionally, she achieved the honour of being listed on the Dean’s Honours list twice during her studies.

The combination of academic pursuit and practical experience, both as a former dental nurse and in her current role as an Oral Health Practitioner, has enriched Mina’s proficiency. This depth of knowledge enables her to provide holistic and quality care tailored to the diverse dental needs of patients across all age groups.

Driven by an innate passion for guiding patients toward optimal oral health, Mina takes pride in offering comprehensive care to both children and adults. This includes, but is not limited to, oral examination, radiography, diagnosis of dental and gum problems, oral health education, providing various dental treatments for children, periodontal therapy and treatment of gum disease, and restoration care or dental fillings for patients of all ages. She also enjoys administering teeth whitening services to eligible candidates, aiming to boost their confidence in their smiles. As an OHT with an adult scope, she can independently provide dental exams and general dental care within her scope of practice, involving one of our dentists when necessary to ensure the best care and outcomes for our patients.
