Ms Michelle Y Bursa is a female Oral Health Therapist.
Michelle graduated from La Trobe University in 2017 with a Bachelor of Oral Health Science, with Extended Scope of Practice. She joined the Flinders Dental team in January 2018. As an Oral Health Therapist, Michelle treats both children and adults focusing on the prevention of dental diseases. Michelle spent her initial years practicing in Ferntree Gully, treating many Burmese refugees. This gave her great experience in treating children with many dental issues and communication difficulties, whilst maintaining a happy environment. With her extended scope, she can provide general dental care including check ups and fillings to adults of all ages. Encompassed in her scope is Dental Hygiene, in which Michelle provides thorough cleans and deeper root planning with a gentle hand.
Michelle understands that visiting the dentist can sometimes be uncomfortable, and always tries to make it an enjoyable, comfortable experience.
