I trained as a dental hygienist at The Royal Air Force Institute of Dental Health and Training, in Buckinghamshire, England, qualifying in 1995. After leaving the RAF in 2003, I immigrated to Australia. I moved from Sydney’s Northern Beaches to Port Macquarie in June 2011, to join Sundial Dental. I enjoy the lifestyle living in Port Macquarie offers. I spend much of my time either cycling, or at the beach with my daughter, swimming and learning to surf, although I spend more time under the water than on the board (typical Pommie). I have also recently taken up kayaking and rediscovered my love of Yoga. My daughter and I feel very lucky to live in such a beautiful town and intend to be here for many years to come. I am still as passionate about my profession today as I was when I first qualified. I believe it is important to have a healthy mouth if you wish to maintain a healthy body.
