Ms Laura N James is a female Dental Hygienist.
Laura has also worked with us as a chairside assistant for many years. She was inspired by Tania, so went on to complete her Bachelor of Oral Health at the University of Newcastle in 2016. Laura is kind and caring and loves her job. As part of her final year placements at University, she volunteered in West Timor. There she and her University team travelled to multiple remote villages treating adults and children with quite severe dental and periodontal conditions. While in West Timor she visited local pre-schools and orphanages educating the staff and children in oral health practices.
Laura also offers in chair teeth whitening, which has been really successful. Feel free to chat to her to see if you would be a good candidate for this treatment. Laura is great with kids and is happy seeing patients of all ages. In July 2017, Laura was awarded the Dental Hygienist of Australia Award for Outstanding Commitment in the Hygiene Profession. Laura has a son (Alex) who is starting school in 2018.
