Ms Kirsten M Middleton is a female Dental Hygienist.
Kirsten Middleton is the resident hygienist at Maven Dental Sippy Downs and has been part of Maven Dental for over 12 years. Kirsten first began her career in dental during her school years where she assisted in her local family practice. After finishing high school she spent four years working in private practice, four years at an orthodontist and a few years abroad in London. In 2002 she returned to New Zealand to complete her dental hygienist qualifications at Otago University.
Her passion for meeting new patients and making a difference to someone's smile has contributed to her patients feeling confident and happy with their oral health. Kirsten also understands the varying needs of her patients and incorporates sedation into her hygiene practice, reducing any nervousness they might suffer. This additionally supports her love for providing periodontal care.
Keeping up to date with the latest developments in the dental industry Kirsten regularly attends professional development courses and training. This ensures she is providing her patients with the best dental hygiene treatment and care possible. Her love for dentistry has also seen her travel back to Otago Dental School where she shares her experiences and insights about her role as a hygienist.
