Ms Katrina Coote is a female Dental Hygienist.
Katrina has worked as a dental hygienist in general and specialist dental practices for 22 years. Katrina first worked in the dental profession as a dental assistant following completion of her VCE in 1987. She obtained her dental nursing certificate via correspondence through the Dental Assistance Education Council of Australia (DAECA) in 1989 and in 1990 Katrina attained her Dental Radiography Certificate.
Following four years as a dental nurse, Katrina pursued her passion to treat and support dental clients and their oral health. She entered the only Dental Hygiene course in Australia at the time in Adelaide, and attained the Diploma in Dental Hygiene in 1993.
Katrina is a member of the Dental Hygienists Association of Australia (DHAA), the Australian Dental Association (ADA) and is registered through the Dental Practice Board of Victoria. Katrina has also lectured at La Trobe University in Bendigo to students undertaking the Bachelor of Oral Health.
Katrina attends continuing dental conferences to keep up with new concepts in dentistry; she is a dedicated and caring practitioner at our Melbourne CBD Periodontics practice, and is very passionate about maintaining her patients’ oral health.
