Highbury Dental Care is fortunate to have Katie with us, as she is a therapist & hygienist. Dental therapists examine and treat diseases of the teeth in pre-school, primary and secondary school children under the supervision of dentists. Katie provides routine dental treatment for children including examinations, cleaning and polishing teeth, filling cavities, extraction of deciduous (baby) teeth under local anaesthetic, taking x-rays and applying pit and fissure sealants. Our young patients love to visit Katie and enjoy the happy and comfortable environment she creates.
