Ms Ingrid Seibert is a female Oral Health Therapist who speaks Portuguese (as well as English).
Ingrid Seibert is an Oral Health Therapist and Myofunctional Therapist. She has a background in Health Science and also graduated from Bachelor of Oral Health in Oral Health Therapy in 2009, at Griffith University.
In 2011 she undertook her first formal studies in the field of Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy in Brazil since then she has also done more training in America and Australia. Ingrid is dedicated and actively involved in research and treating cases helping advance the understanding and applications of this form of complementary therapy.
Ingrid combines her wealth of experience and knowledge in general children’s dentistry with Myofunctional therapy to help children overcome OMDs (Myofunctional disorders).
Before joining the Holistic team, Ingrid spent 7 years working at the Myofunctional research centre on the Gold Coast. Ingrid has also spent 2 years working for the founder of the Tongue Tie institute. It was here that she continued to perfect and learn techniques to help diagnose and treat OMD’s in young patients.
Her achievements in dentistry include traveling around Brazil, Australia and America. During this time, she conducted lectures about Orofacial Myofunctional therapy. In addition, she also, helped coordinate the Brazilian market in advancing the Myobrace system in her home country.
Furthermore, she founded Functional Faces in 2020, which is a Myofunctional therapy program designed to demystify OMT and offer support for parents of children in need to overcome their Orofacial Myofunctional disorders.
Originally from Brazil, Ingrid has been calling the Gold Coast home since 2002.
She believes in prevention and that our mouth is the window to our body and by optimising the mouth and facial environment, this will help to optimise total body health.
