Ms Harriet S Honner is a female Oral Health Therapist.
As an Oral Health Therapist Harriet will diagnose and treat gum disease and tooth decay, provide routine oral health care for children and adults and also help to promote preventative dental practices among school children and the broader community. With individually taught home care techniques, diet advice and regular maintenance she can assist you in maintaining optimal oral health.
Harriet grew up on a farm near Gunnedah in north-west New South Wales before moving to the city and graduating from the University of Sydney with a Bachelor of Oral Health. Since graduating in 2011 Harriet has remained interested in continuing her education, attending courses and online webinars with a particular focus on advanced gum disease and dental implant care.
Since joining the team in 2013, Harriet has shown that she is particularly adept at creating a calm environment for anxious patients. She enjoys building trusting relationships with patients so that they are able to feel relaxed and not fearful of the dental setting. Harriet enjoys taking the time to educate patients on the importance of good oral hygiene habits and diet and how they can affect their dental and overall health. She is passionate about and takes pride in spreading her knowledge and helping others to understand that dental hygiene habits can be easy to maintain if you are given the right information and tools to use!
