Ms Deborah A Nelligan

DDH (TAFESA), DDT (Adel), Dental Hygienist and Dental Therapist

Ms Deborah A Nelligan is a female Dental Hygienist and Dental Therapist.

Deb is a dual qualified Dental Therapist and Dental Hygienist. Her early career was as a Dental Therapist, mostly on the lower Eyre Peninsula. After the birth of her 2 daughters, Deb converted to Dental Hygiene in 1995. She was one of the first hygienists to work in Port Lincoln and moved to Adelaide in ‘99. After the Dental Act changed in 2001, Deb was in the first group registered to work in private practice as a therapist and hygienist, the equivalent to the current Batchelor of Oral Health. Around this time, Deb joined Dr Mark Earl’s practice and has now worked with Mark for 20 years. Also, after gaining dual qualifications, Deb joined the clinical tutoring team at Adelaide University and spent 12 years being a clinical tutor for The Batchelor of Oral Health. Deb also spent a few years tutoring clinical introduction to first-year Dentists. Deb now works part-time at Preventive and still works closely with Dr Mark.
