Mrs Maya Laird is a female Oral Health Therapist who speaks Japanese (as well as English).
Maya is dual-qualified holding registration in Japan as a Dental Hygienist (2000), and in Australia as a Dental Practitioner, Oral Health Therapist (2021).
Maya graduated from Tsurumi University in Japan with an Associate Degree in Dental Hygiene in 2000 and worked for 10 years in Japan and Singapore.
Maya received her Bachelor of Oral Health Therapy from the University of Newcastle after completing her academic coursework and clinical training including clinics at St Vincent’s Hospital Darlinghurst (pre-surgery & infectious diseases unit) and Sydney Dental Hospital.
Maya performs various dental procedures for adults and children focused on providing preventative and restorative treatments with warmth and care while enjoying seeing the continuous improvement of her patient's oral health.
