Mr Basir A Nooristani is a male Dental Hygienist and Dental Therapist who speaks Persian (as well as English).
Basir received his Bachelor of Oral Health in Oral Health Therapy from Otago University, New Zealand. He was one of the first Oral Health Therapist graduated in 2009 from Otago. He is dual Qualified in adult Hygiene and children's dentistry.
He practiced his first year in Bundaberg, Queensland in a private dental practice and gained experience treating both adults and children before moving to Melbourne in 2011. Basir joined QV Dental family in June 2011 where his warm and friendly nature have made him a welcome addition to the team.
Dedicated wholeheartedly to his patients, Basir strives to give his patients the highest quality of care possible, priding himself on his gentle treatment and attention to details. He also enjoys building a good rapport with his patients and getting to know them beyond their teeth.
Basir likes dental hygiene in particular because of his belief in a preventative approach and educating patients on how to maintain healthy teeth and gums but his special interest is in treatment of Periodontal Disease.
Basir regularly attends professional development courses and is a member of the Australian Dental and Oral Health Therapist Association.
