Dr Yul Kim is a male Specialist Orthodontist who speaks Korean (as well as English).
A natural tinkerer, he was initially trained as a computer engineer and worked in software engineering industry in New Zealand for several years. His desire to work directly with people and to work with hands has led him to pursue dentistry as his new career. After graduating with first class honours at Griffith University he worked as a general dentist in both rural and metropolitan areas of Australia during which he gained special interest in orthodontics. He then committed himself to become a specialist orthodontist by pursuing further three years of post-graduate studies at The University of Adelaide.
Since the completion of the specialist training, he has worked in Adelaide Dental Hospital as a senior orthodontist as well as in other private orthodontic clinics in Adelaide. After moving around all over Australia for the past 12 years, he now has decided to settle down in beautiful Canberra to call it home.
Dr Kim is passionate about creating the best smile using the latest digital technology. He attends conferences, both nationally and internationally, to learn and develop the best techniques available to provide efficient and fast treatment.
