Dr Yu Xiu Wong is a female General Dentist who speaks Malay, Mandarin and Melayu (as well as English).
Dr Yu Xiu was born and raised in the Malaysian state of Sarawak and gained her Bachelor of Dental Surgery qualifications from the prestigious University of Adelaide. Dr Yu Xiu enjoys her time in South Australia and having built a close network of friendships, intends to remain here for the foreseeable future.
Dr Yu Xiu is committed to providing the highest levels of care to her patients and enjoys building positive relationships with everyone around her. She respects all of her patients greatly and has gained a reputation as a well-respected dentist due to her kind nature and unmatched level of attention to detail. She genuinely enjoys her career and this is reflected by her willingness to constantly refine her dental skills through further study.
Dr Yu Xiu enjoys all aspects of dentistry but has a particular interest in preventative and restorative dentistry, advanced prosthodontics (crowns and denture work) and oral surgery.
Dr Yu Xiu also strongly believes in contributing to the community and does so by volunteering her time and skills to various worthy causes, with her most recent trip being to East Timor in 2019 where she provided critical dental care to the most vulnerable people there whom would otherwise have very limited access to medical and dental care (if at all).
