Dr Yiling Yap is a female General Dentist who speaks Cantonese and Malay (as well as English).
Growing up, Yiling was interested in the medical field, but was inspired by the balance that dentists need for the knowledge involved, but also the artistic side. For Yiling, the most fulfilling aspect of being a dentist is building good rapport with patients and seeing them return regularly because of the trust built. She also likes watching children grow up in the practice!
To prepare for her dental career, Yiling earned a Bachelor of Dental Science (Honours) from the University of Queensland in 2015. She regularly takes professional courses and has a particular interest in endodontic, oral surgery and fixed prosthodontics.
Yiling performs various tasks in our practice. These include emergency dentistry to get patients out of pain, and fixing and restoring teeth to a healthy state. She also provides oral health education, particularly to raise awareness to patients about the importance of good oral health.
