Dr Jacob Chan is a male General Dentist who speaks Cantonese, Malay and Mandarin (as well as English).
Jacob is a graduate of the University of Melbourne, and has since gained great experience working in public and private practices across metropolitan & rural Victoria. He spent 6 years working in Castlemaine and has come to know many wonderful patients from Gisborne, Daylesford, Trentham, Kyneton and Woodend.
Jacob practises and enjoys all areas of general dentistry, with a particular interest in cosmetic dentistry, where his creative and artistic side can shine! Jacob is a strong believer in prevention and educating his patients. He takes special care to tailor his holistic advice to each patient. He also has a very gentle chair side manner which nervous patients really appreciate and compliment him on. He treats all his patients with a genuinely caring and empathetic attitude. Jacob is a member of the Australian Dental Association. He is an accredited provider of Invisalign and has completed further studies in orthodontics with the Progressive Orthodontic Seminars (USA).
Outside of dentistry, Jacob appreciates vintage cars and enjoys cooking. Being a father has also taught him a lot of new skills and expanded his already worldly knowledge to include a large repertoire of nursery rhymes and Wiggles songs, as well as the art of tying his daughter’s hair, a skill which impresses his wife very much!
