Dr Yee Hsiong Khoo is a male General Dentist who speaks Malay and Mandarin (as well as English).
Dr Yee Hsiong Khoo graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from Barts and the London School of Medicine and Dentistry, a part of Queen Mary University of London, in 2016. He has worked as a general dentist in London and found his passion for oral and maxillofacial surgery (OMFS) while working as an OMFS senior house officer in various hospitals in the UK. Dr Yee is soon to receive his medical degree (MD) from the University of Queensland by the end of 2023 and will will have his medical internship at the Townsville University Hospital. Dr Yee also maintains private hospital credentialing as a medical surgical assistant to a prominent specialist Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon in Brisbane.
Dr Yee joined MYTOOTHDOCTOR and Project Outback Dental (POD) to provide his minor oral surgery skills, and special interest experience at the Townsville Aboriginal and Islander Health Service (TAIHS). Dr Yee holds regular surgical days at TAIHS and MYTOOTHDOCTOR to remove wisdom teeth, perform surgical teeth removals and biopsies - on the referral of TAIHS GPs. Otherwise, our ATSI community members in need of timely management would be on a very long waitlist in the public system.
