Dr Sophie Lai is a female General Dentist.
Dr Sophie became a dentist because she wanted to make a difference in people’s lives by helping them smile with confidence. Born and raised in Perth, Sophie studied locally, obtaining her Bachelor of Dental Science from the University of Western Australia in 2014. Following graduation, her love of adventure saw her relocate to Singapore, where she spent three years in private practice, gaining a wealth of experience in high-tech digital dentistry.
Following this, Sophie’s career took her to regional New South Wales where she split her time between private practice in the beautiful coastal town of Yamba, and emergency dentistry at Coffs Harbour Regional Hospital. After four years away, Sophie returned to sunny Perth, taking up a position with the team at Maven Dental Yokine.
Dr Sophie practices general dentistry with a focus on conservative family dentistry and orthodontics. She is a braces and Invisalign® provider whose aim is to provide not just straight teeth, but beautiful smiles and faces as well.
