Dr Vivian Liu is a female Specialist Endodontist who speaks Mandarin and Taiwanese (as well as English).
Dr Vivian Liu received her BDS and Graduate Diploma in Clinical Dentistry from the University of Adelaide and subsequently completed her endodontic specialist training at the University of Melbourne in 2008. Vivian has taught dental students at The University of Adelaide and La Trobe University as well as medical practitioners serving personnel in Antarctica, and currently teaches endodontics postgraduate students at the University of Melbourne and continuing education courses for general dental practitioners. She has also previously served as an examiner for the Australian Dental Council and as past president of the Australian Society of Endodontology Victorian Branch. Vivian is a fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons, as well as a current member of the Australia and New Zealand Academy of Endodontists and Australian Society of Endodontology.
Vivian believes that the entire treatment process involves not only the clinical procedure, but also in helping patients overcome their fears and anxieties. From the initial consultation to the completion of treatment, she endeavours to work with each patient to ensure they are educated regarding the appropriate and relevant treatment options. This is to help patients make their best treatment decision, and to achieve the best possible endodontic outcome for each patient in a gentle, caring and relaxed manner. Vivian is pleased to bring her expertise as an endodontist to serve both public community patients at Link Health and Community and private practice patients at Monash Smiles in Clayton.
