BDS (JCU), General Dentist
Dr Victoria P Fischer is a female General Dentist who speaks Spanish (as well as English).
Dr Victoria used to be a dental assistant at Seven Springs Dental throughout school, so she saw how rewarding dentistry is. “I felt like I wanted to do more in the field, so I decided to take the next big step and study dentistry for five years.”
The daughter of Dr Paola and Dr Gus (Dentists), Dr Victoria comes from a big family of dentists. In fact, she’s actually the third generation of dentists in her family, so she’s always been interested in joining the family practice. “As a little girl, I would put some gloves on and pretend to be a dentist, so it’s always been something I admired and wanted to do.”
In 2022, Dr Victoria earned a Bachelor of Dental Surgery with Distinction from James Cook University, in Cairns. She also had some placements in Townsville and Mackay.
Currently, Dr Victoria is enrolled in a Diploma of Orthodontics, which takes three years to complete. Her interest in orthodontics was sparked throughout her university studies, as it was her favourite subject.
