Dr Victor I Kiven is a male Specialist Periodontist who speaks Hebrew (as well as English).
Victor Kiven is the Principal of the Melbourne Periodontal Group. Born in Melbourne he recieved his undergraduate (BDSc) and postgraduate (MDSc) training at the University of Melbourne.
Victor has been in Specialist Periodontal practice for more than 30 years & offers experience,a caring practical approach & continuity of care.
He is passionate about working with his patients on optimising their periodontal health/keeping their teeth for aesthetics and function for life.
He practices the full scope of periodontics with expertise ranging from conservative and surgical treatment of a wide variety of periodontal (gum) disease to dental implants and cosmetic periodontal surgery.
Based in the CBD, the Melbourne Periodontal Group is close to many other dental specialists & radiologists which enables Victor to provide comprehensive, coordinated, multidisciplinary care of all your dental needs and minimise your travelling.
He regularly attends meetings both in Australia and overseas to keep up to date with all the latest developments in the rapidly changing world of Periodontology. Indeed he spends 3-5 weeks weeks each year on Postgraduate education.
Furthermore he believes it is his professional obligation to share his knowledge. As such he has lectured locally, nationally and internationally. Over the years he has been involved in running a number of state and national societies (as President after serving on various committees and subcommittees) and has organised a number of national and international conferences in both Periodontics and Implantology.
He is also an Honorary Senior Clinical Fellow at the University of Melbourne & has been involved in teaching post graduate Periodontal students for many years. Indeed he has taught most of the locally trained Periodontists now practising in Melbourne.
