BDS (Adel), General Dentist
Dr Vai Garg is a female General Dentist who speaks Hindi and Spanish (as well as English).
Vaibhav, (better known as “Vai”), grew up in New Zealand and completed his Bachelor of Dental Surgery at the University of Adelaide in 2012. After completing his studies, he had a “tree change” and went on to work in Rural Western Australia. He then returned home to Adelaide and began working at Better Dental.
Vai has a keen interest in helping patients improve and maintain their Oral Health. He has a passion for working with anxious patients. A key to this is his ability to communicate with patients to allow for a more comfortable and relaxing experience. He has extensive experience with Special Needs patients. This includes patients suffering from complex diseases, cancers, and those on the Autism spectrum. Vai gets a lot of satisfaction from supporting all our patients in achieving their optimal Oral Health.
Vai is excited to introduce patients to all the new technology Better Dental has to offer. These investments allow for the latest cost-effective, preventive and restorative treatment options. Most of these treatments are now available for completion on the same day.
Apart from working at Better Dental, Vai is passionate about promoting the importance of Oral Health in the wider community. He serves as a Rural and Remote Councillor for the ADA (Australian Dental Association). He is also the Senior Dentist Central Operations for the Royal Flying Doctor Service. Through this role he provides his time and skill in delivering Pro-bono dental services to some of the remotest and most vulnerable communities in South Australia and the Northern Territory. Look out for some incredible photographs from his trips when you come in to see us!
