Dr Tuan A Dao is a male Specialist Prosthodontist.
Dr Tuan Dao is a registered dental specialist in the field of Prosthodontics in New South Wales. He graduated from the University of Sydney in 2003 receiving a Bachelor of Dental Surgery with Honours. Dr Dao then worked in private practice in Sydney for two years. During this time, he undertook and passed the Primary Fellowship exams for the College of Dental Surgeons. In 2006 he was accepted by the University of Sydney to undertake three years full time postgraduate specialist training. During his training Dr Dao's interest within the field of dentistry extended to complex patient care and complete oral rehabilitation. This cumulated in the receipt of the 2007 Young Prosthodontist Award from the International College of Prosthodontists.
In December of 2008, Dr Dao graduated from the University of Sydney receiving a Masters of Dental Science in the specialist field of Prosthodontics. In 2009, he was recognized by the Dental Board of NSW as a registered specialist in the field of Prosthodontics. In July of 2009, Dr Dao was appointed Secretary of the Australian Prosthodontic Society (NSW Branch) and maintains an active role within the professional society. He is also a member of the Australian Dental Association, the Australian Osseointegration Society as well as the Australian and New Zealand Academy of Prosthodontics.
Dr Dao maintains two part time private practice appointments, in Bathurst and in Sydney. He is also a part time clinical specialist with the Oral Specialist Services at the Westmead Centre of Oral Health in Sydney. He continues to maintain a teaching position, appointed as a Specialist Clinical Assosciate with the University of Sydney, demonstrating Prosthodontics to final year dental students.
Dr Dao's interests within dentistry include complex treatment including crown and bridge, dentures and implants. He enjoys treating patients and developing a relaxed approach to successful treatments.
Away from work, he enjoys playing sport and travelling overseas and experiencing different cultures.
