Dr Lee Kaing is a female Specialist Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon.
Dr Tran-Lee (Lee) Kaing is a dual-qualified Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon. She has a Bachelor in Dentistry with Honours and a Bachelor in Medicine and Surgery from The University of Melbourne, along with a Postgraduate Diploma in Oral Maxillofacial Surgery. Having completed speciality training in WA, she has had extensive surgical experience, and has worked at hospitals in Perth, Melbourne, Hobart and Canberra.
She was awarded the Australian New Zealand Association of Oral Maxillofacial Surgeon (ANZAOMS) medal for the highest mark for her final Specialist Examinations in 2016 and finished as the country’s top candidate.
Dr Kaing also gained international experience at Oxford University Hospitals in the UK on a Royal College of Surgeons (Edinburgh) sponsored fellowship in Oral Maxillofacial Surgery. There she refined her expertise in corrective jaw (orthognathic) surgery, temporomandibular joint surgery, dentoalveolar surgery and pathology.
On return to Perth, Dr Kaing works in public and private practices, and is a Consultant Oral Maxillofacial Surgeon at Royal Perth Hospital and teaches medical students and is involved in training the next generation of oral maxillofacial surgeons. She attends regular meetings and conference for the most up-to-date advances in surgery. She is a member of ADA, AMA, ANZAOMS, DSSWA, WID.
Her special interests include dental extractions, wisdom teeth and dentoalveolar surgery, implant surgery and corrective jaw surgery.
