Dr Tony A Cherry is a male General Dentist.
Dr Tony Cherry came from the exotic Seychelles islands in the Indian Ocean.
Granted a full scholarship to study dentistry in New Zealand and graduated from the University of Otago with a Bachelor of Dentistry in 2007. Since then, he has worked in private practice sectors in Wellington (NZ), Donnybrook (WA), and Melbourne (VIC). He was fortunate enough to take over as the owner of Elwood Family Dentist in 2018 from Dr Lew Steinberg.
Dr Cherry is a member of Australian Dental Association and is currently a registered General Dentist with AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency). He enjoys all facets of dentistry, with a very keen interest in cosmetic dentistry and clear aligners. One of his dentistry passions is helping patients manage dental anxiety or phobia.
He understands the importance of having a dentist you can trust and believe in. Friends and patients describe Dr Cherry as very friendly, kind, caring and extremely gentle. He has a deep understanding of the importance of communication when treating patients, as well as the ethical responsibilities as a dentist. Dr Cherry will listen to all your concerns and explain all your dental needs. He is keen to offer options and develop a treatment plan that is tailored to your best interests to achieve and maintain a beautiful smile.
By dedicating many hours, a year in continuing education and improvement he is able to provide the latest advances in dentistry. Also, with all the innovations in dental materials and technology he is excited about the benefits of modern dentistry and is very committed to bringing it to all his patients.
