Dr Tom T Li is a male General Dentist who speaks French and Mandarin (as well as English).
Originally from Melbourne, Tom’s dream of becoming a dentist (and better weather) has brought him to the sunny Queensland which now he’s happy to call home. He has spent 5 years on the Gold Coast, graduating with Academic Excellence. Since then, Tom has attained a multitude of experiences in both private and public sectors prior to joining Avenue Dental Kawana.
Tom has always been a frequent visitor to the dentist as a patient since he was young. He understands exactly what patients mean when they describe their fear for the dentist. Tom, along with the excellent team at Avenue Dental pride ourselves in making your experience nothing short of exceptional, so that you may even look forward to the dentist.
Tom is devoted to his work and takes it very seriously. Having spent over 100 hours each year in continuous education through various courses and seminars, he stays at the forefront of the latest techniques and technologies. He is passionate about helping patients achieve their goals. Dentistry can be confusing at the best of times, therefore he always makes sure to spend ample time to get to know his patients, so he can tailor the treatment options that best fit each patient, ensuring you understand exactly what you have chosen.
Tom firmly believes in a holistic approach to treating your teeth, and that it’s never too early to visit the dentist. He is particularly interested in Sleep Apnea and Dentofacial Orthopaedics, whereby we may aid the jaw growth of a child in the right direction so that they may avoid the need of braces altogether along with better facial aesthetics. We see patients as early as newborns to ensure that they have no abnormalities which may complicate their growth development. In addition, Tom especially enjoys practising Root Canal Treatments, Orthodontics and Cosmetic Dentistry.
