Dr Timothy Tan is a male General Dentist.
Dr Timothy Tan is a Principal Dentist at St Quentin Dental and the longest serving dentist at the practice. After graduating from the University of Western Australia in 1991, Tim started his dental career in a private practice in the Snowy Mountains of NSW.
It was to provide an excellent grounding for Tim. Under the mentorship of his 2 Principal Dentists, who were also members of the Perisher Ski Patrol, Tim was exposed to a range of dental trauma cases which fed his passion for both endodontics and skiing. It also formed a foundation for his future role as a mentor at St Quentin Dental.
Following his 2 years in the Snowy Mountains, Tim took a sabbatical year back in his home town of Singapore. It proved a fortuitous decision. It allowed him some time away from dentistry to undertake a stint in journalism, where he freelanced as a golf and wine writer. It was also during this time that he met his wife to be, Bernadette.
Moving back to Perth in 1995, Tim resumed private practice in the CBD and in 1999, Tim sold that practice to begin a full time post graduate MBA. It was during this time that he joined St Quentin Dental and in 2002 became a full partner.
