Dr Theo Nel is a male General Dentist who speaks Afrikaans (as well as English).
Theo graduated at the University of Stellenbosch, South Africa, in 2002. In 2011, Dr Nel and his family decided to emigrate to Australia. Theo sold his practice and moved to beautiful Tasmania. He passed the Australian Dental Council examination in 2012 and has been working in the public and private sector in Launceston from 2011 until the decision was made to open a new practice in Legana in 2016. Theo is now practicing at Legana Dental on a full-time basis. During 2018, Theo completed the Brener Institute’s comprehensive implant certificate program and is now offering basic dental implantology services to his patients. He enjoys all aspects of general dentistry but has a special interest in restorative dentistry.
