Dr Stephen A McCrea is a male General Dentist.
Steve was born and raised in Wollongong and completed his Bachelor of Dental Surgery at Sydney University in 1988. He worked both locally here in Wollongong and in Newcastle before buying into this practice to join Keith Gray. Over the years, the practice has moved from Market Street, then to Kembla Street in 1996 and finally here to Ellen Street in March 2007.
Steve is committed to continuing education, keeping up with advances in dentistry and has a keen interest in technology. He lives locally and has two teenage children. Steve has a particular interest in cosmetic dentistry involving complex composite work, crowns, restorations and the restorative component of dental implants. He also performs a lot of root canal treatment, but has a special interest in sleep medicine, working in conjunction with the sleep, ear nose and throat and respiratory specialists by assessing and fitting patients with anti-snoring oral devices worn at night.
