Dr Sophie X Yao is a female General Dentist who speaks Cantonese and Mandarin (as well as English).
Dr Sophie grew up and studied in New Zealand. She graduated in 2017 with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery at the University of Otago where she gained experience treating patients across all ages ranging from simple to complex problems.
After registering with AHPRA which allowed her to practice here in Australia she decided to move to Dubbo for a more relaxing lifestyle.
A pain-free and conservative approach is deeply ingrained into her practice from years of training. She firmly believes that a dental visit isn't just about teeth, but rather a visit to accomodate patients' priorities and preferences.
Having received numerous dental treatment herself she understands what it's like to visit a dentist so she strives to make every visit as comfortable as possible.
