Dr Sonia Iyer is a female General Dentist who speaks Hindi, Marathi, Punjabi and Tamil (as well as English).
Dr Sonia moved with her family to Australia in 2010. She earned a Bachelor of Dental Surgery in India in 1992 and has been a practising dentist for the past 26 years. She served in the Indian army where she began her career as a dentist .She met her future partner and now husband Jay, while serving in the Army. Sonia is passionate about multicuisine and fusion cooking and a keen traveller.
Always a keen learner Sonia attends continuing education dental courses on a regular basis to keep herself abreast with all the newer trends in the profession.
Her areas of special interest and expertise include Restorative and cosmetic dentistry including crowns, bridge and veneers ,Children's dentistry, Sedation dentistry (happy gas),Wisdom teeth extractions and Teeth straightening with aligners / Invisalign.
