Dr Simon P Sweet is a male General Dentist.
Simon was born in Bristol, England, so he use to have a very strong pirate accent. This sometimes comes out to amuse the children!
He studied dentistry at the world famous Guy’s Hospital in London. He also worked as a scientist there, as well at Glasgow Dental Hospital where he was awarded a PhD.
He has published over twenty scientific papers and edited two scientific books.
In 2005, Simon went to Broken Hill to work with the Flying Doctor Service for three months. Seven years later he was still there, after working in a private practice as well as in a children’s dental clinic and in Aboriginal health service.
In 2012, Simon and his wife visited a friend in Coffs Harbour, they loved it so much they decided to stay. Now they have bought a home here and have a new baby boy, born in Coffs.
Simon has worked in a number of dental practices in Coffs Harbour as well as at the hospital, and has got to know many people here.
His patient’s all love his friendly, easy going attitude and he can put even the most nervous person at ease. He always tries to make a visit to the dentist fun for the children.
Simon is experienced in all aspects of dentistry, including adult orthodontics with Invisalign invisible braces and in placing dental implants and keyhole (mini) implants. He is fully accredited by the Australian Society for Implant Dentistry and is a member of the Australian Society for Conservative Implant Dentistry (keyhole implants).
