Dr Joy Chen is a female General Dentist who speaks Mandarin (as well as English).
Dr Joy always loved art and science, and for her, dentistry is a combination of both. She is passionate about helping patients of all ages achieve confident smiles. Being a dentist allows her to work with her hands to help motivate her patients to achieve lifelong health for their teeth and gums. Dr Joy has gentle hands which allows her to provide a gentle, high-quality and patient-oriented care which all her patients love!
To prepare for her career as a dentist, Dr Joy graduated with Bachelor of Dental Science with Honours from the University of Queensland. During her studies, she received the Australian Society of Periodontology Prize and the David Dunlop Memorial Prize in Orthodontics. Dr Joy keeps herself busy by taking many continuing education courses. These include an aesthetic composite resin restorations workshop as well as digital onlays and crowns. She also attended an Airway conference and is a graduate of highly regarded IAADent Orthodontic Residency. Dr Joy also completed her Postgraduate Diploma in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthodontics in 2020.
