Dr Shannon MC Sia is a female General Dentist who speaks Mandarin (as well as English).
I graduated from the University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Dental Science with Honours, and have since relocated to the Gold Coast to be a part of the enthusiastic team at Robina Town Dental.
I understand that seeing a dentist can sometimes be a bit daunting, but I wish to make my patients feel as comfortable as possible. In particular, I really enjoy treating kids and I think it’s incredibly important to foster genuine relationships in order to create a positive attitude towards oral health at a young age.
Dentistry is forever evolving and modernizing, and as such, I aim to stay up to date in my training. Cosmetic dentistry is of particular interest to me as I believe everyone deserves to have a healthy smile they are proud to show off. I would also love to delve further into special needs dentistry as it can significantly improve one’s quality of life and confidence.
Ultimately, my goal is to further my knowledge across many fields of general dentistry in the hope that I can achieve desirable and quality outcomes for all my patients. I see many patients with different wants and needs, and there is no ‘one-size-fits-all’ solution. Creating individually tailored treatment plans, increasing awareness of dental health, and addressing each patient’s concerns are my priority.
