Dr Shakiba Askary is a female General Dentist who speaks Farsi (as well as English).
Dr Shakiba Askary graduated from La Trobe University with a Bachelor of Health Sciences and Masters of Dentistry. As part of her training, Shakiba spent time serving rural and remote communities within Victoria. This provided her with invaluable experience in treating dental disease and maintaining oral health.
Dr Shakiba enjoys all aspects of general dentistry, but particularly enjoys restorative and preventative dentistry. She enjoys engaging with recent advances in dentistry, and with the industry as a whole through attending professional development courses.
Dr Shakiba’s philosophy is to tailor dental care to each individual patient and empower them through informing them on how to best maintain their oral health. Shakiba does this through building relationships based on trust and transparency with her patients and focusing on their education. She has a kind and gentle demeanour to ensure her patients are at ease when in the dental chair.
