Dr Shad Hossain is a male General Dentist who speaks Bangla and Bengali (as well as English).
After graduating from James Cook University, Cairns in 2015, Shad went on to work in the public sector, working in correctional centres and travelling extensively in remote communities and worked also in private practise, gaining knowledge and experience in treating a wide variety of dental issues.
Shad enjoys all facets of general dentistry and his friendly, conversational nature will help the most ill at ease patient relax and understand their treatment. As a self-confessed “people person” he is passionate about explaining options and outcomes and providing personalised treatment plans, and is enjoying the opportunity at Trower Dental to explore new ways to expand his range as a clinician.
Being Darwin born and bred, Shad loves the outdoors and often spends his down time hiking, swimming or fishing. He is also an avid traveller and keen guitarist.
