Dr Sashika N Fernando is a female General Dentist.
Dr Sashika Fernando graduated from the University of Western Australia with a Bachelor of Dental Science in 2011. After working in rural Western Australia for a year in the public health system, Sash returned to Perth in January 2013.
While Sash enjoys all aspects of dentistry, she has special interest in cosmetic dentistry, incorporating anything from teeth whitening, veneers to crowns and implants to create a healthy smile.
Sash has also undergone further study with the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons in the hope of expanding her dental knowledge and enjoys keeping up with the newest technologies in dentistry.
While helping people achieve a healthy and aesthetic smile is Sash’s aim, her main goal is to minimize dental problems in the future. By working with and educating her patients, particularly kids, she provides a preventative approach to dental care.
In addition to Leeming Dental Centre, Sash also works part-time at Swan Districts Dental Clinic, a government dental clinic situated in Middle Swan. Sash grew up and went to school in the Swan Valley and is happy to give back to her community by improving their oral health.
