BDS (Pakistan), General Dentist
Dr Saadia S Khan is a female General Dentist who speaks Hindi, Pashto and Urdu (as well as English).
Dr Saadia came to Melbourne in 2005 with the intention of completing a Master of Public Health, and 18 years later she is still here!
Wanting to learn more about sustainable oral health programs for communities, she completed a Diploma of Community Work and a Diploma of Project Management. Dr Saadia also spent time teaching at Deakin University in the Faculty of Health Sciences, as well as working in numerous health promotion projects in the not-for-profit sector. Following a five year practice coordinator role in a leading dental practice, she decided to take the Australian Dental Council registration exams.
These experiences enabled Saadia to understand the importance of prevention, patient-centred treatment planning, pain management, and informed consent. She enjoys all aspects of dentistry that empower her patients to develop better oral health and feel more confident in themselves. Given Saadia's desire for learning, she applies herself wholeheartedly to learning new techniques and improving her knowledge and skills.
