Dr Ruchi Agarwal is a female General Dentist who speaks Hindi (as well as English).
Dr Ruchi Agarwal is a highly qualified practitioner with special interest and advanced skills in Periodontics. She has conducted research on ‘Study of correlative significance between anemic state and periodontitis and the outcome of two different modalities of therapies on improvement in the hematological picture’ and is a recipient of a number of awards including "Gold Medal by Colgate Palmolive India LTD" in 2004.
Dr Agarwal believes in evidence based dentistry and is continually improving her knowledge and skills in General, Periodontics and Implant Dentistry by further professional training in Australia and internationally. “It was an honourable experience to participate in (International Academy of Periodontology) IAP Conclave in Bangkok 2014 discussing Global strategies addressing periodontal health and disease” she said.
Teaching is a passion and Dr Agarwal gained immense satisfaction in the role of Demonstrator and Clinical Supervisor in the Department of Periodontics at Melbourne Dental School. She believes that communication, education and patient motivation are one of the key factors for long term treatment success.
