Dr Robert G Hodgson is a male General Dentist.
Dr Rob is an experienced and valued senior dentist at Chermside Dental Care who currently helps our patients on weekends due to his Australian Army commitments.
Rob graduated from his Bachelor of Dental Surgery from James Cook University in 2015. Following this, Rob has also completed a Masters of Clinical Dentistry in Oral Surgery at Griffith University. He is currently in a dental and health management role in the Australian Army. He joined the Army as a dental officer and at the age of 26, was one of the youngest officers of his time to be promoted to the rank of major due to his attention to detail and great work ethic. He has completed placements in the public sector to advance his emergency dental skills and helped students as a pre-clinical supervisor at the University of Queensland.
Rob enjoys all aspects of dentistry but has a keen interest in oral surgery (surgical tooth removal) and endodontics (root canal treatment). He can also help those more anxious patients through their procedures using inhalation sedation (happy gas).
