Dr Rita T Goulart is a female General Dentist who speaks Portuguese and Spanish (as well as English).
Rita Rockliff is from Brazil, where she grew up with a dream to be a dentist and attended Lutheran University of Brazil where she obtained her Bachelor of Dental Surgery with honours in 2001.
While working in Brazil, Rita’s wishes was to raise her family in New Zealand or Australia. So she moved to New Zealand in 2003 and worked as a dental hygienist before settling on the Sunshine Coast with her family in 2006. She has worked in private practices in Birtinya, Maroochydore and Gympie.
Rita is passionate about providing her patients with excellent standard of care in all aspects; she seeks to understand their overall general health, wellbeing and lifestyle in order to plan a holistic treatment that will have a positive impact on their long term health.
In her advanced education, Rita completed a Mini Residency in Orthodontics for 3 years (Dr Derek Mahony’s philosophy with full face orthodontics and non extraction practices). Started a Master in Sleep Medicine at the University of Sydney, participated in extensive Invisalign training, Cosmetic dentistry (Digital Smile Design and Veneers), and recently her interest was directed to Facial aesthetics and rejuvenation, and her latest addition: Fotona Laser to her repertoire of knowledge.
Rita has written a few articles over the years with emphasis in prevention and education in dental health. She held an educational business parallel to her day time job to bring speakers and promote courses in Australia. Rita values giving back to the community, she was involved in helping the local charities such as Sunny Kids and Steps charity by volunteering her time to educating on oral health.
