Dr Richard J Grant-Thomson is a male Specialist Periodontist.
Dr Grant-Thomson graduated as a dentist from the University of Queensland in 1991 and worked as RAAF Dental Officer for ten years.
He obtained Fellowship in the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons in 1998.
Richard was awarded the Australian Periodontology Research Foundation prize for his publication on Periodontal treatment in 2001. He completed his specialist qualification in periodontics from the University of Queensland in 2002.
Richard has worked as a visiting specialist for the Department of Defence and is a Lecturer for the University of Queensland Dental School Postgraduate Periodontics program.
His professional interests include periodontal regenerative surgery and dental implants. He is a Fellow of the International Team for Implantology, director of the ITI Brisbane North Study Club, and a registered specialist in periodontics.
