Dr Rick Spencer is a male General Dentist.
Rick graduated from University in 1980 with honours. After working in England and rural NSW he has been in general practice in Sydney, and in his present rooms since 1987 as a general dentist. Strathfield dental practice has been his primary location for over 25 years. In 2007 he became a Clinical Educator in the B Dent programme at the University of Sydney, having previously worked there for 7 years as a clinical tutor in Periodontics.
Currently he is a presenter in the University of Sydney Continuing Education in Dentistry programme, in both the use of Microscopes and Ultrasonics in dentistry.
He has a keen interest in adhesive dentistry, periodontics and the utilisation of the operating microscope in dentistry. He has been using an operating microscope in general practice since 2002 after studying microscope-enhanced dentistry at the Newport Coast Oral Facial Insitute, USA. He has successfully assisted many dentists in the use and integration of microscopes into their practices.
Rick is a member of many dental societies, including the Periodontal Society and Prosthodontic Society. In addition to these he continues his studies by attending courses both locally and abroad. The results of which he integrates into the practice, offering his patients the most modern and effective long-term treatment modalities.
