Dr Peter Tsakiris is a male Specialist Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon who speaks Afrikaans and Greek (as well as English).
Dr Peter Tsakiris emigrated to Australia in 2003 from South Africa with his family and has since been active in the public and private sector in Sydney.
Along with the private practice in Randwick, he is an OMFS consultant to Prince of Wales Public, Sydney Children's Hospital (Craniofacial and cleft clinics), Sutherland hospital and honorary consultant SDH Dept. of Orthodontics (multidisciplinary orthognathic clinic).
Having held consulting positions in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Sydney Dental Hospital (SDH), St Vincent's, and Prince of Wales Hospitals, he practiced and taught Maxillofacial and Oral Surgery.
Dr Tsakiris has had extensive exposure to traumatology of the craniofacial complex, pathology of the jaw orthognathic surgery and advanced implantology both overseas and in Sydney.
He is passionate about teaching, presenting and clinical research and advancements in treatment protocols.
Dr Peter Tsakiris is a Fellow of the College of Medicine South Africa -Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, a Fellow Member of the International Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (IAOMS) and a member of the Australian and New Zealand Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (ANZAOMS). He was an Instructor in Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS/EMST) for many years.
