Dr Peter Ikonomou is a male General Dentist.
Dr Peter Ikonomou graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from the University of Sydney in 1987 and has taken additional courses in Orthodontics and Dental mini-Implants, in particular. He completed the orthodontics series at Sydney Uni in 2010.
Growing up in Sydney’s inner west and attending Fort Street High School; Peter enjoyed playing Rugby in his youth along with surfing, in which he still indulges on occasion!
Having practiced for over 15 years in Ashfield and since then in the city and joining us in 2005, Peter provides a wide range of dental treatment, but has a special interest in orthodontics. He has been placing braces and orthodontic plates and carrying out Invisalign for hundreds of our patients over the past decade. From young children to older adults, Peter is convinced that having teeth in their ideal position is essential to a beautiful smile – the teeth and gum positions look right. Once you have that, most other imperfections can be much more easily overcome.
