Dr Payam Yazdani is a male General Dentist who speaks Persian (as well as English).
Payam is a member of the Australian Dental Association, and registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency. He regularly takes part in continuing dental education programs in the profession. Payam enjoys all aspects of dentistry with special interests in aesthetic and cosmetic dentistry, pain free dentistry and pain management, root canal therapy, prosthetic dentistry to replace or reconstruct damaged, lost or missing teeth, crowns and bridges, dentures both full and partial, and oral surgery.
As part of his dental training Payam spent two years in clinical practice in the public hospital system including the Westmead Centre for Oral Health at Westmead hospital and the Sydney Dental Hospital in the CBD before moving into private dental practice on Sydney’s Northern Beaches and North Shore.
Payam came to Sydney as a young child and grew up in the Hills and North Shore areas. He attended school at Baulkham Hills Selective High School, and then completed a Bachelor of Medical Science at the University of New South Wales where his major areas of study were biochemistry, molecular biology and immunology. He continued his education at the University of Sydney graduating from Dentistry.
Payam has been active in the dental treatment and care of young children. He has given talks and visited schools and child care centres, raising awareness about paediatric oral health in the community.
He has also enjoyed attending nursing homes and retirement communities giving oral health education to staff and caregivers on proper dental care for residents.
